In 2013, brothers Andrew and Peter Novokshonoff decided that Grand Forks needed an automotive repair facility with a high level of service. So, with assistance from their parents, Phil and Kathy ─ both successful business owners ─ they put together a plan for a business with a simple philosophy: Providing superior service to people… and their vehicles.
After much consideration of building locations around Grand Forks, the family decided on an old automotive shop in downtown Grand Forks. They purchased the building on October 16, 2013 and set to work on a nearly four-month renovation to transform the rundown building into a first-class automotive shop.
Then came, as Phil put it, the “the fun part” – researching and buying equipment. No time or effort was spared in making sure they had the best equipment for the job, from the Rotary® Shockwave™ hoist that lifts two times faster than standard lifts, to the Autel® Scanner ─ the first one sold in western Canada ─ that allows them to diagnose newer vehicles faster.
After welcoming the public on February 8, 2014 for an open house, Andrew and Peter officially opened for business on February 11 – and the business has continued to grow ever since.
